YMX became our client about six months ago. This on-line retailer dose the vast majority of its business on-line through their e-commerce web portal. After a few years of using Social Media consultants without much success, YMX came to APV Communications in search of some new ideas and results.
The First task was to look at how YMX was marketing their goods to see what was working for them and what was not. It turns out that YMX has a small but loyal following of customers. They had a Facebook presence with a couple of thousand fans, not bad but not enough to support the business. There was no understanding of the vertical sales markets that the product served and no strategy to capitalize on those verticals.
